About the Faculty
The Faculty of Arts and Graphics was founded in 1960 and is one of the oldest faculties in Russia along with those in Moscow and St. Petersburg. It is currently one of the leading faculties in the region in the field of visual arts, design and architecture. Research, creative and pedagogical activities are carried out by a qualified staff consisting of 85 professors and specialists. The Faculty is equipped with specialized scientific, creative laboratories and workshops, modern computer labs helping the students realize their professional and creative potential. Over the years of its existence the Faculty has trained 4.5 thousand specialists who successfully work in various spheres: painting, education, science, design, interior decoration, advertising, graphics, sculpture, decorative and applied arts.
