Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogics

The Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogics was founded in 1978. The academic staff of the faculty carries out intensive scientific activities, elaborates social engineering to develop social environments and technologies of psychological assistance to teenagers and young people in personal development, socio-psychological rehabilitation of disabled children, in the field of innovative teacher's activity, improvement of theoretical foundations and methodology of teaching disciplines in elementary schools. The students of the faculty receive high-quality liberal arts education which includes the development of fundamental knowledge in psychology and pedagogy. The graduates of the faculty work in psychological centers and recruitment agencies, in educational institutions, government agencies, and psychological services providing assistance to high-risk profession specialists.
