About the Faculty

The Faculty of Special Education was established in 1988 with only two programs: Speech Therapy and Education for Developmentally Disabled. Today the faculty offers a great number of interesting programs as it has become a leader among special education faculties in Russia. It cooperates closely with the Institute of Correctional Pedagogy of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
