The KubIT Student Design Bureau at KSU is the Winner of the All-Russian Competition by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Recipient of a 5 Million Ruble Grant
The KubIT Student Design Bureau (SDB) of Kursk State University has become a winner of the first All-Russian competition held by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The competition was held in the category "Establishment and Development of a Student Design Bureau." KSU is among the 15 winning universities and will receive a grant of 5 million rubles.
These funds will be allocated for the bureau's development, including the purchase of modern equipment. The main projects of KubIT are related to the development of medical devices and the creation of intelligent transportation systems. The SDB's activities are aimed at involving students in solving practical tasks for the region's economy.
A total of 178 applications from universities across Russia were submitted for the competition. The creation of such design bureaus is a key instrument for supporting engineering talent in the country.
